SANCTURA XR® (trospium chloride extended release capsules) is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with Overactive Bladder. Their symptoms may include: a strong and immediate need to urinate, a need to urinate frequently, leaking or wetting accidents.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:
You should not take SANCTURA XR® if you have certain types of stomach problems, have trouble emptying your bladder, or have an eye condition called uncontrolled narrow‑angle glaucoma.
Be sure to tell your doctor about all of your medical conditions including: stomach or intestinal problems; constipation; trouble urinating; a weak urine stream; uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma; kidney or liver problems.
Tell your doctor about the medicines you are taking. SANCTURA XR® capsules and certain other medicines can interact and make some side effects worse. SANCTURA XR® can affect how other medicines are handled by the body.
The most common side effects in clinical trials with SANCTURA XR® were dry mouth and constipation.
